At the risk of being in serious danger of publishing a blog which only does other people’s memes everyday, I spotted Teaser Tuesday, over at Should be Reading and knew I had to get involved. As an ex-bookworm (I say ex, I still adore reading, but between blogging, mummy-ing, studying, cleaning and wife-ing, I don’t get as much time to curl up with a book as I once did) this seemed right up my alley. Anyway, it goes like this:

Grab your current read

Open to a random page

Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page

BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)

Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

In an effort to make my page and sentence choice truly random, I will be asking my glamorous assistant, Sausage, to help me!

So, here’s mine:

I am currently reading ‘The Fry Chronicles’ by Stephen Fry.

Page 106

“‘I’m really sorry, Dr Holland, but I’m still trying to engage with the eschatology of Paradise Lost. I think I’ll take another week to come to terms with it’”

So there you have it. It’s a fantastic read so far, but I am a huge fan of his books, having read all of his novels, and I would recommend everything that he’s written!

Now it’s your turn! Grab your book, follow the rules and link up over at Should be Reading.
